How does this compare to a best and final offer?
A best and final offer works the same way anywhere in the Lowcountry: every interested buyer submits their strongest price and terms once, with no further negotiation round afterward, rather than the usual back-and-forth counteroffer process. It can produce a higher price quickly, but it also removes the chance to adjust once a buyer sees how competitive the field really was. Brian Beatty advises sellers on when that approach beats a standard negotiation.
